Policies
- One person per 30-minute mini shoot.
- Doubles are allowed if the entire 30-minute mini shoot is of both people. No mix of individual & doubles.
- Sales are non-refundable, but we understand things come up last minute. Please let us know as soon as your plans change.
- There is no limit to the number of mini shoots each dancer can book. Use multiple mini shoots for different outfits or just to have more camera time!
- Since we’re working on a very tight schedule, we need to keep things moving. If you arrive late for your session, we reserve the right to end your session at the scheduled time.
- We reserve the right to cancel the event if fewer than 3 people book sessions.
- Please respect the time & cost that goes into setting up for this day to create the absolute best images we can. No other cameras (including phone cameras) will be allowed on the set.
How To Move/Pose
- First and foremost: Don’t wait to book a shoot until you’ve lost more weight or learned better tricks. Capture who you are NOW and, I promise, you won’t regret creating these images of yourself. You don’t need to be a trickster to look amazing. In fact, some of the best and sexiest moves are done around the base of the pole without any trick at all!
- The best way to approach your video shoot is to come up with 6-8 tricks you want to show off (any level trick will do) as well as by rehearsing basic moves like walks, hair flips, and bends. Depending on which video options you choose, Heidi will guide you to either walk through one move at a time (different video cuts) or to go through a short flow of 6-8 moves (in one cut). You will most likely need to repeat the process a few times to make sure we’ve captured the absolute best!
- It’s ALWAYS better to kill it with an easier trick than to not quite pull off a harder trick.
- Because of how perspective affects your body shape in a flat image, poses will sometimes need to be adjusted in a wonky way that is technically wrong for the trick but will look perfect in the final photograph. We’ve been photographing all kinds of dancers for 20+ years and have used these tricks over and over to create stellar images that flatter each body in each position.
- Record yourself practicing the moves you’ve chosen and freeze frame your videos to get an idea of which moves you like most for your body and ability. Save a few screenshots to an album on your phone for quick reference in case you forget or get flustered while on set.
- Some tricks work best if you get into them as you normally do. Others will work better if you get some assistance getting into them. There’s NO SHAME in cheating for your video shoot, especially if it helps you conserve your energy for the prime moment of the move.
- Don’t forget to point your toes!!!
- Here are some great places to look for pose ideas that can be translated into moves:

Prices
- Your 30-minute mini video shoot is $100 (If hosted at a pole dance studio, the studio itself may collect additional fees.)
- Each 30-minute mini video shoot comes with either (1) 50-60 second video (“long”) OR (2) 20-30 second videos (“short”). You may purchase (1) additional 20-30 second video (“short”) per time slot for an additional $50.
- If you’d like more videos than we can fit in one mini session, book a second session!
- Videos will be edited to free royalty free music from Pixabay.com. This just gives the editor a solid beat to work off of. We unfortunately cannot use popular music as the copyright costs are too prohibitive. However, you may mute the final track and add your own music when you share it!
How To Book
- Your studio will offer instructions on how and where to book.
- If you’re booking multiple mini shoots, they don’t have to be consecutive. Give yourself time to recover and change between shoots!
- Can’t wait to work with you. <3
How To Get Your Videos
- Within a couple of weeks of the videoshoot, all your videos will be posted in a private online album for you to review. (This is our best estimate for turnaround time, but please be patient!)
- You will have the opportunity to make 1 round of edits for each video. Example: If there’s a clip in the video you really don’t like, we can remove it or swap it for another one.
- The final downloads will be available for 11 days only. Don’t put off downloading and miss out.
- When videos are ready, we’ll email you directly. Be sure to add our email address to your contacts or address book so this announcement doesn’t get lost in spam.
